HRD Department students of SDM College of Business Management, in association with Rovers and Rangers, conducted an extension activity at Viva New Shaa Mobile Shop, Panjimogeru, Mangaluru, on April 29, 2026. The objective of the programme was to create awareness about cybercrime and promote safe and responsible use of digital technology among the general public.
During the activity, students educated the public and shop employees on issues such as online fraud, cyber threats, and safe internet practices. They also guided them on protecting personal and financial information while using digital platforms.
The programme was coordinated by Ms. Preethika Dharmapal.
