Yoga Training For Students

         Yoga training programme was conducted to the first-year students of the college with an objective to improve the physical fitness of the students. The one-week training programme was conducted by the sports association of the college.

              The training programme was conducted for the students from 20 September 2022 to 30 September 2022. The resource person Yogarathna Gopalakrishna Dhelampadya enlightened the students on the benefits of Yoga. He also enriched the students with the different streams of Yoga and its benefits. They were taught the different types of Asanas like Vajrasana, Makarasana ,Sarvasana ,Vrikshasana ,Parvathasana, ,Suryanamaskara, Pranayama,Sethubanda. Yoga guru Gopalakrishna Dhelampady trained and corrected them with the right posture while they were practicing.

        The students actively participated in the sessions for seven days. The students were enthusiastic and were excited to practice yoga daily and keep themselves healthy and flexible. The programme was coordinated by the Physical Director of the college Mr. Sudarshan K
