The Youth Red Cross Association organized an awareness program on Fire Safety, Health Safety, and Disaster Management on 13 February 2025. The initiative aimed to educate students on fire hazards, preventive measures, and essential first aid procedures. The session was conducted by Shri Sathyaraj, Freelancer Fire Safety Officer.
The program featured two sessions—indoor and outdoor. The indoor session focused on fire safety protocols, the use of fire protection equipment, evacuation procedures, and first aid techniques. The outdoor session included a mock drill and a demonstration of fire extinguishers, allowing participants to gain hands-on experience in using firefighting equipment available on campus.
The event was coordinated by Youth Red cross officers Mrs. Preethika Dharmapal, Mrs. Parinita Salian, Mrs. Reshmi B.R., and Mr. Sudarshan.
