The Youth Red Cross (YRC) Association was inaugurated on 13 August 2025.
The Guest of Honour, Dr. Prathviraj B.U., Associate Professor, Department of Community Medicine, AJ Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore.
In his insightful address, emphasized the importance of humanitarian service, volunteerism, and the active role of youth in promoting health awareness, disaster preparedness, and community welfare.
Prof. Aruna P. Kamath, in her presidential address, encouraged students to actively
participate in YRC activities and contribute towards building a compassionate and resilient society.
The formal inauguration was marked by the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing
knowledge and service. Ms. Anvitha presented the plan of action for the academic year.
Mrs. Parinita Salian and Mrs. Reshmi, coordinated the programme.
